SONGWRITING
COURSES

What is it all about?

Great songwriters paint rich images for the listener. A great song can do one of three things –

  • It can mean different things to different people based on their own personal journeys

  • It can catapult the listener into the world of the songwriter making the listener feel like they were there in person

  • It can grab the listener's soul for no reason at all and wiggle its way into their musical memory.

You will learn to -

  • How to write hooks that grab attention

  • How to write industry-standard lyrics

  • How to write unforgettable melodies

  • How to complete practical exercises to improve your songwriting

  • To put song forms into practice in your writing

  • The different types of music publishers and how and when to find a publisher

  • How to evaluate the commercial potential of your music

  • How to market your music and build a professional reputation

  • How to earn royalties for your music

  • How to access organisations who can help with your songwriting career

  • How to find co-writers and form a network of music industry contacts

  • How to write in any genre

  • To expand your songwriting toolkit beyond your current methods

  • how to develop critical listening: recognise the industry-standard processes in successful commercial releases

  • How to make a meaningful connection with audiences through your music and get your message across effectively

  • Become a better songwriter, pure and simple

How will this be taught?

You have two options available to you.

  1. In the studio - This is a popular option which gives you studio experience and recordings of your work as you build a song through the course alongside one of our producers.

  2. Remote sessions - Working through the course via video conferencing is another popular choice. These sessions go at your pace and with a producer working with you, helping you if you get stuck or have any questions you will find this method perfect for those who don't live near one of our studios.

  3. Online lessons - These are pre-recorded sessions with our executive producer Anji. This course is considerably cheaper as it is not tailored to your learning speed though all subject matter is covered just as the above two options. Support is offered via email for this course and questions are answered with 48 hours.

Let's get you started!

Fill out the form below for more information. Someone will be in touch as soon as possible to talk through your requirements and present an accurate quote.

We don't hide our prices because we are expensive, we just know from experience that different people are at different levels and require different levels of support so we prefer to have a chat with you first to make sure we are providing the right service for you. We can then discuss the price based on your needs.
