FAQ
"How much do you charge?"
This depends on what you need from us. Do you want a day hire? Do you need an engineer or producer? Do you need a song written? etc. All quite extreme variables, Get in touch, We’re competitive and are willing to fit around your budget.
"Do I have to come into the studio to work with you?"
No, we regularly work with clients all around the world. Get in touch to discuss your individual requirements.
"I'm a singer-songwriter in need of a band"
We've got you covered! Our core group of session musicians work regularly together in the studio and all have extensive experience working with singer-songwriters in realising their songs into broadcast-ready releases. If you require instrumentation that’s a little different, we have a vast network of experienced studio musicians we can call upon.
"How long is a 'day' in the studio?"
When we refer to a day booking we mean 8 hours, usually between 10am and 6pm. While we are a 24/7 studio some hours require a bigger budget so if you need a booking outside of these hours please discuss with us first.
"What can I achieve in a day?"
On average, a song a day and a half-day to mix. We’ve done quicker, we’ve done slower. Depends on the client and the type of project.
"What do I need to bring?"
We have a drum kit, amps, guitars and bass’ which we know work in different situations. You're also more than welcome to bring your own! Please ensure skins and strings are fresh and intention on stringed instruments is correct, we want the very best results for you!

"Do you offer studio experiences?"
Absolutely! We love having people in to just try out being in the studio or groups who just want to come and sing to some backing tracks to celebrate a birthday or just for fun! These sessions are fun and we love nothing more than to make someone's day a little more special by helping them to create some amazing memories! Message us directly to discuss this unique opportunity!
"I've recorded with you, what next?"
On a personal level, we help all our clients with the next step no matter how big or small that step might be. Duplication, gigs or signing a deal, we’ll point you in the right direction. Our team led by our executive producer who has worked in all parts of the industry over 20+ years can support you in almost any direction you want to go in. Just have a chat with us and we will let you know how we can help.
"Do you work with young artists?"
Yes! We are passionate about encouraging young artists and have been working with various youth centres and youth groups for over 20 years. We play a role in supporting them in starting their careers on the right foot.
We have a number of programmes to support young artists. Not only do we work with Open Mic UK by providing monthly sessions on songwriting but we also work with youth groups and schools with our Music No Theory workshop which has now been running successfully since 2011!

We also offer one to one sessions with young artists providing guidance in singing, songwriting, musicianship and more.

All of our staff are DBS checked and trained in safeguarding so your little star is in good hands. You are also welcome to stay in the session if you wish.

"What are your payment terms?"
We require 25% deposit to secure your booking. Full payment must be received before we release any mixes, masters or session files.
"What payment methods do you accept?"
We accept Bank Transfers, Cash and Cheques. Please note: cheques are required to clear before we release any masters / confirm sessions.
"If I record at your studio, do I have to have my mixes done by you?"
Absolutely not! While we love to see projects through to the end we are also happy to provide you with the project files or stems for you to take elsewhere to be worked on more, mixed or mastered. You project - your choice!
